All international students in the Spokane and Cheney area are invited. We usually meet the first Friday of each month from 6:00 to 8:30 at Fourth Memorial Church (Please check the Calendar of Events on the Home page for exact dates and locations).

History of TalkTime
Several years ago, a group of friends from our church got together to talk about the opportunities we have had to travel, experience different cultures, eat great food and meet interesting people from all over the world. We realized that there are a lot of international students attending colleges and universities in Spokane and Cheney who would probably like to know more about American culture as well as learn to speak English more fluently. So we started meeting together with international students from various colleges and universities in our area and that turned into TalkTime.

Although we are associated with Fourth Memorial Church, we have agreed to keep our discussion topics to social/cultural issues unless asked specifically about our beliefs. If students are interested in discussing religion or learning about Christianity we can provide other meeting times for those discussions.
